Lorraine Besser, Ph.D.

Lorraine Besser is a professor of Philosophy at Middlebury College who specializes in moral psychology and teaches courses on happiness, well-being, ethics, and early modern philosophy. She has published numerous articles, is a regular speaker, a Templeton Foundation Grant Awardee and is the author of two books The Philosophy of Happiness and Eudaimonic Ethics. Her first trade book, THE ART OF THE INTERESTING will be published by Grand Central Publishing in 2024.
