Dr. Sará King

Dr. Sará King is an internationally recognized thought leader who examines the role of social justice, art, and mindfulness in neuroscience and collective awareness as it relates to well-being and the healing of intergenerational trauma. Dr. King a neuroscientist, political and learning scientist, medical anthropologist, social entrepreneur, a certified yoga and meditation instructor and an NIH post-doctoral fellow in Neurology at Oregon Health Science University.  She has been awarded the Oregon Fellowship for Diversity in Research, the Society for Neuroscience Scholars award among others, takes part in Google’s Vitality Labs and is a regular collaborator with the Museum of Modern Art in NY.   She lives with her husband and daughter in San Francisco and is working on her first trade book.
