Tina Seelig, Ph.D.

Dr. Tina Seelig is the Executive Director of Knight-Hennessy Scholars at Stanford University, a prestigious and selective leadership development center for graduate students from across the university and Director Emeritus of the Stanford Technology Ventures Program at Stanford School of Engineering where she served for 23 years as executive director, faculty director, and professor of the practice in the Department of Management Science and Engineering (MS&E). She teaches courses on creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship in the departments of MS&E, Bioengineering, and at the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design (The d.school) at Stanford. 

She is the author of three books including the international bestseller What I Wish I Knew When I Was 20, inGenius: A Crash Course on Creativity and Creativity Rules (trade paperback, Insight Out) and online views of her lectures and talks including her Ted Talk have reached ~5 million.

Tina Seelig earned her Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Stanford University School of Medicine where she studied neuroplasticity. Before teaching, Tina worked as a management consultant for Booz, Allen, and Hamilton and as a multimedia producer at Compaq Computer Corporation.
