Shawn Ginwright, Ph.D.

Dr. Shawn Ginwright is a transformational leader and a powerful voice for justice, healing, and social change. He serves as the Jerome T. Murphy Professor of Practice at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where his groundbreaking work focuses on trauma, healing, and empowering African American youth. He introduced the paradigm-shifting concept of "healing-centered engagement." He is also the co-founder and CEO of Flourish Agenda, Inc., an innovative research lab and consulting firm dedicated to unlocking the power of healing to empower youth of color and their adult allies. He is the author of four books including the bestselling THE FOUR PIVOTS: Reimagining Justice, Reimagining Ourselves. He is working on his next book.
