Christian Nightmares is a popular, anonymous online personality who turns a satirical lens on the world of evangelical Christianity and its effect on current politics. BuzzFeed has called Christian Nightmares “the best place on the internet to find creepy Christian shit” while renowned author and American religion historian, Randall Stephens, said Christian Nightmares is “…for those with a dark, maybe even grotesque, sense of humor…I imagine that those who dig the comedy of Mr. Show, Tim and Eric Awesome Show (Great Job), The Sarah Silverman Show, The Onion, The Wittenburg  Door, etc., would be the target audience.”  Christian Nightmares’ social media posts have drawn the attention of Esquire, The Guardian, Paste Magazine, The Wrap, and many other well-known publications and sites, and many of his posts have gone viral, gaining millions of views.  Instagram @christian_nightmares and Twitter @ChristnNitemare.
